- Arts Tri-Mentorship Program
Having a mentor never hurts. The Faculty of Arts has initiated their very own Tri-Mentorship Program, perfect for Arts students. Senior students (generally 3rd or 4th years) are matched with mentors already working in careers that are of interest to students. The senior students in turn mentor a junior student (2nd year) to help them make the most of their campus experience. Matches between mentors and mentees are based on area of study, academic and career interests, and long-term career goals. More information on their website at www.arts.ubc.ca/students/tri-mentoring.
- Go Global
Go Global is a key resource at UBC that develops and facilitates international learning opportunities through study, research and service learning. Offers students transformational, experiential learning experiences that promote global awareness, meaningful engagement and cross-cultural understanding. Take a peek at http://www.students.ubc.ca/global.
- Life on Residence
One way to make the most of your residence experience is to become a Residence Advisor. RAs are live-in residence life student staff who plan many of the activities and programs that are offered in residence. This could be you! Check them out at http://www.housing.ubc.ca/.
