YWiB UBC fills an essential role in the UBC community by providing resources, support and friendship to undergraduate women in all faculties. Our goal as a club is to ensure that all our members have the opportunity to become active members of the YWiB community and to make a positive impact in their own lives and the lives of others. Through our monthly events, skill building workshops, social events and mentorship program, we plan and execute events that are fun, educational, and beneficial for our members.
If you are a female undergraduate student in ANY faculty at UBC and are looking to expand your social and professional networks while gaining indispensable experiences and skills that will help you attain your goals, then YWiB UBC is the club for you!
The YWiB UBC 10/11 executive team has been and will be working diligently throughout the year to plan events and workshops that will provide the highest benefits to our members. Our executives are enrolled in a variety of disciplines at UBC but together, they constitute a group of hardworking and ambitious young women looking to make a positive impact in the UBC community and for the members of YWiB.
The Young Women in Business (YWiB) Network at UBC is an affiliated branch of the Canadian Young Women in Business Society.
