We have an internship opportunity available to YWiB UBC members. It’s with a company called Energy Aware Technology. The job descriptions are as follows:
Marketing
-reviewing press releases in the industry done by other companies
-helping the company develop a press release strategy (what is the image we’re trying to get across to the public, messaging in each release, time line for when each piece will be released)
-writing Energy Aware releases about the different wins we’ve had in our different markets
-contacting industry analysts to let them know
-publishing releases over the wire in our different markets
-getting the releases on the website and filing in our information gaps
Operations
-working with our manufacturing team to time shipments
-working with our shipping companies to quote on time lines and shipping method (ground vs air vs freight)
-arranging packing slips and working with the CEO and VP engineering to help deliver for customers
Business Admin/Finance
-working directly with the CEO
-managing and organizing due diligence content for audit or external review purposes
-reviewing NSERC and other grants to help fund research and development
