fondest memory | being accepted in Gateway theatre’s company for The King and I musical
retreat | any getaway with some friends – an island or a small town, somewhere with a lot of
positive energy and feeling relaxed
wildest dream | bungee jumping – done, so up next is skydiving
proudest moment | winning Volunteer Richmond’s Shooting Star Volunteer award
biggest challenge | to always be strong for those around me and to always have a smile on – the
challenging part is to be truly always strong and happy
keeps me up at night | aside from staying up to do work or leisure reading….talking with my
freinds or hanging out with my freinds keeps me up!
how I give back | volunteer, volunteer, volunteer! i’m on the board of directors for richmond
women’s resource centre, vice-chair of zenith in action – a scholarships and grants initiative to help
youths launch their community projects, part of zenith global citizenship conference, advisory
member of city of richmond’s child care development advisory committee, business leader for
junior achievement, and i’m also a designated community helper at my company to assist with
coordinating fundraising evnts for corporate community initiatives and help volunteer at various
corporate community events…and of course ywib!
perfect day | a whole day without any time restraints or having to answer to phone calls or emails
or messages… breakfast in Kits, a walk at the beach and in Kits, a relaxing massage visit to the
spa, dinner at the top of a mountain
first job | selling cotton candy and waffles at the Richmond Night Market
favourite quote | Dance like no one’s watching, sing like no one’s listening, love like you’ve never
been hurt, live like heaven on Earth.
inspiration | 10% of life is what happens to you and 90% is what how you react – so my inspiration
is that I can make what I want happen on my own, that and I always aspire to be more like the
motivated and inspirational people around me in my community. I’m lucky to be involved in a very
tight knit community with very passionate and generous people; thus, I am always inspired to make
a difference and be the difference I want to see, “I expect to pass through this world but once; any
good therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it
