how big is your building?

Presenter: Doug Turner

As we enter a new year and get ready for graduation or the next phase of our new career, thoughts of "what do I really want to do?" are in the air and they are exciting and confusing at the same time. To you I say RELAX, you are going to be just fine, (FABULOUS in fact) and there are some things you can do to make sure you get as far as you want to go.

Think about the rest of your life as a building. A building needs a foundation, and the kind of foundation depends on what kind of building it is.

At this point in your life you probably don't know exactly what you want to do with your life (ie what kind of building you want) and that is perfectly OK. The key here is to not limit yourself by the kind of foundation you build. You are building one, whether you know it or not, so you might as well make it a good one so you can build whatever kind of building you want later.

Your foundation is made up of DECISIONS. There are no good ones or bad ones, just decisions that will ultimately determine how big a building, how great a life, you can have. Before you make choices that will affect the rest of your life (here's a little secret…..they ALL do), ask yourself HOW BIG IS YOUR BUILDING?

We will talk about the specific things you can do (10 building blocks) to build a stronger foundation so you can have any kind of life you want.
