sales: the great equalizer

Presenter: Villette Nolon

Many of us have a negative image of a profession in sales – mostly driven by the image of a used car salesperson. In reality, sales is truly a profession and a discipline that can be learned and perfected, just like finance, operations or other functional areas. And, a profession that relies on high level sales skills is often highly rewarding both financially and personally. This session will explore the many facets of sales, including the personal attributes it takes to succeed. And it’s a must for those not planning a career in sales, so they too can understand the importance of this function in the business world.

building professional relationships

Presenters: Tracy Heyland and Teresa Haywood

Toxic behaviors within teams and working environments create stress and lower productivity. At some point in our career, we will work with such individuals and will most likely shock ourselves, by exhibiting such behaviors as a knee-jerk reaction.

In a safe and inspiring setting, participants will be introduced to the 4 Team Toxins and their antidotes. Participants will start to build a powerful toolbox of simple skills that will allow them to diffuse these toxic behaviors and create more productive dialogue.
