conferenceabout
This high-impact conference will bring together over 350 energetic young women to partake in engaging workshops, interact with established leaders and experts, participate in unique networking events, and celebrate the achievements of aspiring and accomplished women in business. The BP! goal is to assure that delegates will walk away being inspired with the knowledge, enriched with ideas and resources, and empowered with the new-found connections and friendships.

new this year
This year, the Beyond Pink team is putting forth a few new initiatives to create an unparalleled conference experience.

  • Firstly, this year’s event will emphasize the reduction of our eco-footprint; from the pre-planning to the implementation stages, the BP! meetingteam will engage in environmental sustainable practices that will ensure this conference is presented as resource efficient as possible.
  • In addition, this year’s Gala will highlight achievements of local women through two new awards – one will recognize an involved contributor to YWiB program over the last two years, while the other acknowledges the outstanding accomplishments of a local high school student.
  • Lastly, this year’s conference will also facilitate a roundtable discussion amongst corporate partners, to share ideas of how to establish and sustain various women empowerment initiatives across different organizations.

theme
The two day conference will be segmented into two themes – Stand Up and Stand Out.  BP! speakers will share stories and insights from each of these themes.

  • The first day’s theme of Stand Up will urge delegates to complete an internal evaluation of interests and goals, and subsequently finding the necessary resources to stand up for their beliefs. Since the delegation consist of a diverse demographic, the workshops on the first day will likely spark very interesting conversations and ideas.
  • The second day’s theme of Stand Out challenges attendees to commit to their goals from the first day, and to creatively stand out against their outstanding peers and colleagues. Given the current economic climate, the events of the second day will provide Beyond Pink delegates with the tools to remain competitive and to boast personal development to new heights.
